Buying fish directly from fishermen

As a member of the public, you can buy up to 30kg each day, of fresh fish and shellfish, from registered commercial fishermen, for home consumption. The government has guidelines for fishermen which can be viewed online.

Please remember to only buy from registered commercial vessels, those selling should be willing to provide information on their species, vessels and fishing grounds. #buylocal
