Looking after our environment is one of our top priorities and therefore we have a number of schemes in place to assist our customers.
We aim to provide users of Milford Fish Docks with efficient, effective and sustainable waste management facilities and therefore have a comprehensive Waste Management Plan in place.
Fishing For Litter is a European initiative aimed at encouraging the collection and shore-side disposal of fishing industry related debris which is encountered during fishing operations at sea.
At Milford Fish Docks we’re pleased to be part of the scheme and help our customers with the waste collected.

piSCES is an Interreg funded project (supported by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation programme) of which the Port of Milford Haven is a partner. It aims to use smart grid technologies to reduce the costs and carbon footprint of Energy Networks in the fish processing industry. This will be done through modelling the usage profile of their energy networks and optimising that against the wholesale energy market and any available onsite generation.
